Au NMEA 2000 PowerTrain Simulators

The Au NMEA 2000 PowerTrain simulators V1.00A release can generate majority of NMEA 2000 PowerTrain Controller Area Network (CAN) signals on a NMEA 2000 network. Au NMEA 2000 PowerTrain simulators are designed very easy to use. All editions run independently (without personal computer). It is widely used as valuable tools for any situation from product-line test, incoming inspection, business demonstration to product development and product validation.

Eight editions of NMEA 2000 PowerTrain simulator are now available to meet different customer needs (4 non-plus editions and 4 plus editions).

The non-plus editions are stand-alone devices. They can be operated independently without a PC. Full range of NMEA 2000 signals can be generated by controlling 3 push buttons.

The Plus editions have all the functions of non-Plus editions, plus a PC Remote Terminal program, which can be used to control and display detail information of simulated NMEA 2000 signals on a PC screen.

All the editions have the following basic function:

• Push buttons (Up & Down) are used in "static mode" to adjust data outputs
• In "dynamic mode", data cycles automatically in its SAE defined range
• LED indicates the control step value and reflect push button operations
• Buzzer sound also reflects push button inputs, it can be enabled/disabled

The Value Package Edition(s) provides 6 most frequently used engine parameters for marine stationary application.

The Engine Basic Edition(s) provides 26 engine normal operating data, such as Engine RPM, Vesel Speed, Engine Oil pressure, etc.

The Engine Premium Edition(s) support 28 engine running parameters and engine warnings.

The Vessel Platinum Edition(s) support 49 parameters for engine, transmission, rudder, water depth, etc.

Value Package Edition(s), Engine Basic edition(s) and Engine Premium edition(s) can be upgraded to higher edition(s), non-Plus editions can be upgraded to Plus editions. 

All editions can statically or dynamically simulate the NMEA 2000 PowerTrain data. Two push buttons (UP and DOWN buttons) are used in the static mode to control the data outputs. The dynamic mode will automatically cycling the data in its range. LEDs will indicate the control status. And buzzer sound reflects push button inputs. The buzzer sound can also be disabled. 

After a network is physically connected, simply powering up the simulator will get it transmitting operating data on NMEA 2000 network. No software setup and No CAN protocol configuration skill are required. 

Static mode will generate steady NMEA 2000 data, Dynamic mode will generate constant-changing NMEA 2000 data automatically.
