Product Description
One end of the CAN / J1939 cable is a DB9 female connector, which can supply power, ground, CAN_H and CAN_L signal to Au Group Electronics J1939 devices.
The other end of the cable includes a Deutsch connector (HD10 9-way rounded Receptacle with Flange) and a Power Supply Jacket (2.1 mm Positive center). The 9 way Deutsch connector is the same connector as the ones used on heavy duty trucks.
Au part number "PWR-912V-CP" (not included, order separately) can be used to supply +12V power (500mA minimum) via 2.1mm power jacket.
This cable supplies "power and ground" connection, together with "CAN_H and CAN_L" connection to any device attached.
Maximum cable length is 0.66 meter per SAE J1939 specification.
This cable is highly recommended to be used together with Au J1939 simulator (not included, order separately), which will create not only identical J1939 signal but also identical mechanical interface as provided on typical trucks/Recreation Vehicles/Buses.
Note: All order for this cable after April 1, 2010 will be shipped with upgraded "CBL-CAN-485-02". The "CBL-CAN-485-02" is an upgrade version of "CBL-CAN-02".
