Au SAE J1939 / J1708 / J1587 Cable provides a solid pigtail connection from truck’s 9 pin Deutsch diagnostic connector.
It also provides a replacement diagnostic connector (e,g, a 9 pin Deutsch " HD10-9-1939P ") for additional devices while the original one is used.
One end of the cable consists of two SAE diagnostic connectors, such as:
* Deutsch connector " HD16-9-1939S "
* Deutsch connector " HD10-9-1939P "
The HD16-9-1939S connector can mate with Truck’s on-board 9 pin diagnostic connector. The HD10-9-1939P can be mounted on the truck for future Truck diagnostic purpose while the original one is mating with the HD16-9-1939S.
The other end of the cable consists of a 9-wire pigtail, which can connect device(s) to Truck’s Power supply, J1939 network, J1708 / J1587 network, and proprietary CAN network, etc. The open end (pigtail) is perfect for custom cable designs and prototyping.

* Max. Wire length: 2 feet, J1939 specification recommends max. 1 foot (0.33m) of wire used for diagnostic products
