Product Description
The RS485 Cable for DB9 male Connector (Part#: CBL-RS485-01) is a 4-wire twisted cable with DB9 female connector
One end of the cable is a DB9 female connector, which can mate with the BUS side connector on Au RS485 and SAE J1708 / J1587 products, such as Au SAE J1708 Simulator, SAE J1708 Interpreter, CVT485, CVT485E, CVT485-NE etc.
The other end of the cable is a color-coded pigtail composed of 4 twisted wires, which can be used to connect power supply and J1708 network.
Each wire is color coded, blakc wire for GND, Red wire for power supply, White wire for J1708 A+, and Green wire for J1708 B-.
An optional power jacket can be added to the end of the power connection wires. Which adds the convenient for lab testing purpose.
Wire Color and Signal definition:
Red - +12V power supply
Black - Ground
White or Yellow - J1708 +/ RS485 AY
Green - J1708 - / RS485 BZ
