Au SAE J1708 / J1587 Simulator (plus) edition is a stand-alone device which is capable of simulating the most frequently used J1708 / J1587 engine parameters.
This device can run independently, no PC is required.
As a handy option for new product development and product validation, a PC software (remote Terminal) is also included. The so-called “Remote Terminal” software can remote control the device, and display simulated J1708 signals on a personal computer (PC). This user-friendly GUI (Graphic User Interface) of remote terminal software is useful for new product development and product validation.
This device is designed with assembly line operator and sales person in mind, which makes it very easy to use. No decent knowledge or experience of J1708/J1587 is required to operate this device.
Simply connect the device to a J1708 network, power it up, you are all set.
Au J1708/J1587 Simulator Value Package is designed to simulate the following Message ID and PIDs (parameter identification) on a J1708/J1587 network:

Major Hardware Features:
• Power supply: +9V~+14.2V DC, +12V nominal, 250mA max
