Product Description
This is an RJ12 flexible cable with 6-pin POGO connector. One end of the cable is 6-pin Pogo connector, the other end is an RJ12 female connector. 6 pogo pins are mounted in the Pogo header fixture in a row with standard pitch at 0.100" [2.54mm]. Three fixture colors are available: blue, white, and black. Standard pogo pins are Radius header with gold plated, which will secure both good electric contact and long term durability. Serrated pogo pin header is optional (Figure 2).
Au Group Electronics RJ12 POGO cable is able to be used for programming PIC MCUs on circuit boards.
It can be connected with Au Group Electronics BB0703/BB0703+ programmer via an RJ12 Reverse cable.
It can be connected with Microchip ICD2/ICD3, RealICE Programmer via an RJ12 standard cable.
It can also be connected with any third part programmer with ICD2 compatible RJ12 connector.
Specification:
Current rating: 3 amps continuous
Spring force: 4.0 ~ 7.0 oz each pin @ 0.100 inch travel
Typical contact resistance: < 60 mOhm
Working travel distance: 0.100~0.160 inch
Pogo pin material: BeCu with gold plated
Recommended through-hole PCB pads pattern (mating with standard radius pogo pins): ID = 1 mm, OD = 2mm, and pin pitch = 100 mil (2.54 mm).
Recommended SMD PCB pads pattern (mating with optional serrated pogo pins): OD = 2mm, and pin pitch = 100 mil (2.54 mm).
Pin 1 is marked on the fixture. Here is a list of ICSP signal definition on the Pogo pin (when it is connecting with BB0703/BB0703+ via an RJ12 Reverse cable):
Pin 1: Vpp
Pin 2: Vdd
Pin 3: Gnd
Pin 4: PGD
Pin 5: PGC
Pin 6: Aux/Not used
