Product Description
6 pogo pins are paired with base sockets, and mounted in a fixture in a row with standard pitch at 0.100" [2.54mm]. Three fixture colors are available: blue, white, and black.
All pogo pins are gold plated, which secures both good electric contact and long term durability. Radius pin header came as standard , serrated pin header (Figure 3) is optional per request.
The base sockets are also gold plated for good solderability. Cable with wire size from 20 to 24 AWG is able to fit into the socket.
The 6-pin POGO header connector is a flexible solution for both DIY users and production application. It is able to be soldered to various cables for programming PIC / Atmel MCUs on circuit boards.
When it is soldered with Au Group Electronics RJ12 Single End cable, it can be connected with Au Group Electronics BB0703/BB0703+ programmer, Microchip ICD2/ICD3, RealICE Programmer.
Please note the ICSP signal sequence definition on BB0703/BB0703 and ICD2/ICD3, RealICE Programmer is not the same.
Specification:
Current rating: 3 amps continuous
Spring force: 4.0 ~ 7.0 oz each pin @ 0.100 inch travel
Typical contact resistance: < 60 mOhm
Working travel distance: 0.100~0.160 inch
Pogo pin material: BeCu with gold plated
Recommended through-hole PCB pads pattern (mating with pogo pins): ID = 1 mm, OD = 2mm, and pin pitch = 100 mil (2.54 mm).
Recommended SMD PCB pads pattern (mating with serrated pogo pin headers): OD = 2mm, and pin pitch = 100 mil (2.54 mm).
